In the Wal-Mart movie "The High Cost of Low Price," someone notices ripped bags of fertilizer sitting in a parking lot that drained into the Catawba River.

Turns out that situation is not uncommon. One Worcester woman watched the movie, then noticed a similar situation locally. From Worcester First:

She walked behind Lowe's and saw ripped bags of pesticide and fertilizer spilling on the ground. She promptly found the store manager, brought the situation to his attention, and he said he'd move them inside that night. Mara's action directly got the store manager to think about materials storage a little more. When she checked again, they were gone, but new pallets are continually delivered to outdoors.
